my other characters were a level 123 night lord on bera global and a level 120 bishop on kaede jMS.
I really loved my night lord, but I think the fact that I played the character for three years kinda took its toll on me.. using the same skill constantly was so repetitive, and the competitive attitude of the thief community was just too much to deal with. none of my equips were ever good enough and I couldn't keep up levelwise due to the constant lucky seven / triple throw repetition. the class became very boring.
as for the bishop, it was fun from 1-99. 100-120 took about a week (with 110-120 being done in one day). after 120, when I couldn't get genesis due to the low population of the english community on kaede, I took a closer look at what I would be doing even if I got the skill and found that I didn't want to just leech or spam a skill my whole maple career.
so now I have my captain. I honestly don't think there's anything I dislike about this class. I leveled at a pretty good rate for not having 2x cards. I can BOSS, which is something I had a lot of trouble with on my night lord without a DK around.. and I enjoy playing it whether I'm training or not. I don't just spam one skill, and I have a shiitload to look forward to! advanced homing, rapid fire, torpedo, air strike.. so many great skills to max! with this class, I actually have a reason to continue playing.
the only thing I really miss from the other two classes I played is flash jump. backstep shot is alright, but if you've ever used a controller to play a night lord, you'd know why I miss flash jump so much. hold down the button.. and you're off! zoom! but still, backstep shot is good enough for me.
