Asking someone 'out' is such a vague thing to say. Do you mean to be in a relationship with you, or do you mean go on a date? If a date, then you should try and catch her alone and ask her if she'd like to catch a movie sometime, or coffee (I don't know how old you are, so I have no idea what is applicable to you). Don't be nervous about it, and don't make her answer you right away either. Just tell her to get back to you, if she's interested. Forcing or pressuring her will either:
A) Make her go on the defense, and quite possibly say no;
B) Pressure her into saying yes, when she really wants to say no;
C) Laugh at you.
If you tell her to get back to you if she's interested, she will or she won't, but it won't make a scene and you can always deny accusations if people think she rejected you.
Just never use a pick-up line. That is the worst possible thing you can do.
That's natural. Just relax and be yourself. Being someone else isn't what you want to do in a relationship, it will only cause problems.
