Must've really took cahones to stand there, even in full chain mail and knowing yourself to be safe (as long as the mail doesn't come out of ground!), and reach your hands toward arcs like that.
Tesla coils are so badass. These are the first YouTube videos I actually enjoyed watching all the way through in months.
EDIT: I've been looking through nerd instrument videos on YouTube, and 90% of them play either Imperial March or something from a vintage video game, including the first ever performance of a Zeusaphone.
EDIT2: Apparently people use them as keyboard and guitar amps, even in their living rooms.
