Love

Harrisonized, whenever did Quantact say that a man can't legitimately love another man? I don't see it anywhere..

He didn't. He simply made his post polarized by talking only about heterosexual love, so I thought that he meant that homosexual love doesn't exist.

If you're a guy and you're with a girl and it's gone far enough along, you're in love. If you aren't as far along, you "like" each other but not in love yet.

He addressed the point though so we should drop the topic.

Hmm... it seems that I replied to the thread without answering the question originally asked. Being as literal as I can, loving someone and being IN love with someone... "in" means in. Assuming love is both ways, being "in" love means that the love is mutual. That means loving someone is "out", or loving from afar, meaning the love is not mutual.

It's like calling someone on a phone vs. being in a phone call, if that makes it any clearer.
