Drugs are bad, m'kay?
Any legalization and institutional endorsement of drugs of any sort is detrimental. Drugs have negative health and productivity effects and should be outlawed (yes this includes tobacco, alcohol and caffeine). These effects are more negative than the revenue that harvesting, processing, distributing, and selling any drug, this is generally called "not profitable". This is supported by collectivist, moralistic, and even authoritarian points of view. However, it should not be the government's job to regulate anything.
