When is it okay for a man to hit a woman?

Seriously. When was the last time that you heared about a case where the woman was the abuser?
When a husband hits his wife, tell me where the right in it. There are thousands of Husband hitting his wife, but how many cases there are where women hit their husbands? rarely, if theres any.

Women fight in different ways, you can see it from middle school girls up through adults, women tend to play mind games or emotional games, girls in schools would tend to spread rumors and emotionally hurt another girl before they'll punch them. Same goes with women twords men, women can be controlling, put men down, keep them on a leash, take away privileges, hell they can emotionally wreck a guy, regardless of what any "macho" guy will say, they can.

Women abuse in a different way, physical abuse usually isnt their method, but they're just as abusive.

And mental abuse is not better than physical abuse, dont even go there, they're both terrible.
