People don't like socialism because they can't get away with things as easy as with capitalism. Just like Devil already mentioned, the greed of mankind. With the government regulating more than capitalism, it's harder to make millions/billions of dollars.
See how the market got so fked up now? It's because investors and banks, kept borrowing and borrowing, and let other people keep borrowing and borrowing them from. Uncontrolled bussiness blew up in everyones face.
