When is it okay for a man to hit a woman?

Personally, I'd never hit a girl. I guess it's just part of being nice and a gentleman. It's never bad to be that like that, y'know. And, like what people have said, if they were about to kill me, I'd defend myself. Other than that, everything else has been said.
