There will ALWAYS be hacking in every great game. As long as there are people willing to take the time to get around the new anti-hack prevention thingy, there will always be hacking. It'll never stop. They can release new anti-hack programs, but someone will always find the one way to get around it, and the cycle goes on.
So stop laughing at GMs. They're doing their job. Do you really want them to smega every hour or so saying "-insert hundreds of names here- have all been banned for hacking." They're like one of those invisible heroes. They do their job, you just don't see it.
kthx.
I lol'd at your post, and the one you quoted. Both are wrong. You are right in assuming hackers will always be there, but if Nexon actually had a decent staff you'd see a hell of a lot less. And they'd be hacking at maps no one goes to, not Himes, HT, WS and all the other maps people visit pretty regularly. Why? because hackers dont want to get banned, if they felt that there were good odds of GM banning them due to reports filtering in from players, they would, thats right, HIDE. Not badmouth GMs in smega's while hacking HT at noon. And GMs havent been doing their job, until recently. So few bans occured other then autoban's it was ridiculous.
Its pretty bad when i can report a hacker, come back 6 hours later, report him again(same channel, hacker still AFK i would assume), come back the next day after work, report again, go away, come back 4 hours later, report again. Log off, come back 2 days later, report again(always in same map, same channel, same hacker) Come back 8 hours later, still there, come back a day later, and he is finally gone. But, did he get banned, or just DC'd? And considering this was Snowman Boss map, kind of figure im not the only one finding/reporting him. Oh, and when i talk about this, it was actually 2 seperate hackers on different channels, though they remained on the same ones. GMs were not doing their job, or they were just doing it badly.
Believing that hackers will go away is ridiculous, but believing that Nexon is doing their absolute best to control the situation is equally ridiculous. They really need to hire more GMs, for all of their games im told.
