That's something GMS would never do.
If nobody is able to stay connected and get their box, well, too bad.

But of course KMS remembers the original purpose of Hot Times - Concurrent User Count - and that's not going to be achieved with the servers crashing.

Good luck getting them stabilized.

Yeah it's sort of sad because even before this patch, the game was so laggy that they extended an event and gave a big compensation box, saying they would improve the servers for the 5th job patch. But then it got even worse after the patch, I guess because of the influx of players. There was so much downtime (server maintenance like an hour after the game came up, after 4 hours of extensions for the patch), I think there was even a small rollback. And now they scheduled another patch today which hopefully will fix it...
