The other "fansites" aren't much different.
The Maple subreddit has majority of the negativity get downvoted to high hell so you never actually see it unless you actively search for it.
Basil gets flooded with the same crap everyday that it gets buried under everything else, or it gets deleted cause some mod didn't like it.
Just because you don't see it as much as on SP doesn't mean it's not there.
