E3 2015

The new Nier game announcement has me hyped because I thought that project basically died with Cavia.

BUT THEY GOT PLATINUM GAMES TO DEVELOP IT.

And then "Song of the Ancients" started kicking in and I died at that point.

The only thing that would have made me more hyped would have been a platinumgames remake of drakengard 1. Playing as a psychotic with an angry dragon in HD developed by a company that can actually do action gaming appeals to me for some reason, I can't imagine why. I can dream dreams of Caim completely soaked in blood with an insane smirk, carrying around a Guts-sized weapon with enough blunt striking power to throw 5 people per swing 20 feet away into the nearest ditch or cliffside, riding around on Chaos Angelus using the fully charged breath attack in glorious 1080p, causing multiple apocalypses per map.
