Huh... this is odd. I registered with a new Gmail account, had the same issue where it showed me the window to either authenticate with Nexon Play or SMS and Email. Went through my profile, saved changes (didn't actually change anything), waited for a bit, clicked Game Start which instructed me to relog in order to start the game. I relogged and bamn, it worked. Made a character with a hipster manbun, lol. (Yeah, yeah, I know they existed in Asian countries way before hipsters started taking on that look.)
