KMS 1.2.227 - Mechanical Grave

Upon selecting your character, you can opt-in if you want the developers to collect PC information from you. This allows them to analyze crashes, lag and whatnot to improve performance and optimization of the MapleStory client. (CPU, memory usage, etc.)

Hopefully this will really help. It's been almost 12 years and players are still crashing at simple boss fights.

Didnt Nexon already do that?

I dont know if it happens on other services, but NexonEU has already been collecting a lot of information from user´s PC since long ago.
