LW 2's supposed school shooting threat coming from GG: Debunked.
LWu's supposed threats coming from GG: Debunked.
Plenty more other supposed threats: All debunked, also telling people to stuff it is not a threat so much as it's people being rude.

Furthermore, blatant idiocy like claiming people sent you a lot of death threats when it can be debunked easily while journalists like this guy are talking about playing pinatas with white men who commit suicide are a great example of why I can't take any of their harassment claims seriously.

People who want to harass will do so at any point. They don't need the cover of GG to do so, and considering GG has an actual harassment patrol they'd be stupid to try and join GG to harass people. Your logic simply doesn't hold up, and this:

Is strictly not true once you consider that the IGDA spans many countries, however much of a joke they are at this point. And given that devs are already deciding not to join organizations that tar them based on who they follow, I'd suspect that the intention of the list isn't all that laughable after all.

Serious question: Are you being obtuse? The way that list was made is a joke, the maker is a joke, the organization is a joke by now but the implications of the list isn't a joke. Show some proof of all this supposed harassment GG is doing to justify it being a hotter topic over the massive corruption in the press and I'll pay attention.
