I'll take the Android phone. Some Android phones run Android 4.x AND are even cheaper. There's a phone, I don't remember which one, that my friend was showing me that ran at least 4.2 and was under $100 with no contract.
iPhones are ridiculously overpriced, just like everything Apple. They can get away with it because there's those drones that only buy things Apple makes.
My comment wasn't endorsing them, I was just pointing out their actual price with contract, I myself have a galaxy note 3, and I love it, all because of the pen :3
