Yes, I did confirm him as innocent. My PM told me that he was "definitely an apple", then mentioned that he was green. Honestly, if I misinterpreted that as innocent, then I'm sorry. I can see why that might strike people to be suss.
I didn't mean to get you implicated to be honest. I somehow missed the post where you said CJ was clean before I posted, and when fanokarino brought it up I looked back. Even so, I don't really suspect you of anything, because...
Unfortunately "definitely an apple" combined with green doesn't necessarily mean that he's good. Words was an Apple as well, and while Words was a "old, dried out Granny Smith apple with gnarled stem near the top of [their] tree," both of those things are true for Words as well. Granny Smith Apples are both apples and green. Unfortunately your text is not descriptive enough to determine anything.
Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, we need to seriously consider the possibility that the fact that Words was a Granny Smith apple and in control of the bad apples gang may imply that all bad apples are Granny Smith apples. If this were true, that would mean that CJ is mafia, because he is likely also a Granny Smith apple.

I never realised that investigating the same guy would be so disastrous; granted, I don't expect someone to say outright, "if you both investigate the same person I'm going to flip pomegranate and accuse you all of witchcraft", but more opposition would have helped... I noticed that sanity was brought back up when I read through so I chose to confirm sanity first. Now it's all moot since I doubt I can be believed anymore.
Regardless, I will continue investigating and reporting my results, even if nobody believes me. When I'm killed, and my innocence proven, I sincerely hope they could be of use to everyone in the future
I was only opposed to the Words lynch myself because I feared it to be a trap to get two good apples killed, something I specifically said, because Words was so against me the day before and then suddenly he's evil? It seemed way too convenient for me.
In the end, Meta getting killed isn't that bad. It's sad and sucks that we lose an ability player, but we shouldn't forget that Meta lied. Meta had two options from there, either tell the truth (and then get lynched at about a 95% chance out of fear of bussing/something else) which would waste a lynch big time, or to continue the lie which would make things significantly worse, and eventually end up with the same result because no one would trust them anymore. Having Meta killed wasn't exactly the worst case scenario, even though Khaini is flipping out about it.
