The likely hood of a Wii U price drop is low right now, with the Philips lawsuit going through. What Philips wants is a cut of all of the profits gained by Nintendo with the sales of the Wii U and the cease and desist of the manufacturing and selling of the Wii U. While the latter is low in probability that a court order would come through for it, the former is most likely going to prevent any price cuts any time soon, as Nintendo would be making even less money off of it, if any at all, depending on how much they would owe Philips.
