I brought in loot mules and had them all die. I was the only one that got any tops at all. For reference, my drop rate is such that I should get 5 per person every time.
It's also happened to at least one person one each of my Cvellum runs (minus today's, pineappleing finally), and that person got no drops. Take what you will from this example as there's a good chance they would've gotten nothing anyway....
letting them die is not the same as using up all 5 lives; its hard to believe you brought in loot mules and had them each die 5 times so that the death counter went from 05 -> 00. you're saying you're mules did not get loot; i'm saying, as in my earlier comments; i DID get quote root abyss armor - non shared loot - drops quote. to say your mules did not get loot may be connected to some other factor.
i spoke about chaos vellum specifically being different because in a party of 6, three players had more than 01 lives, and three players had 00 death count; and none of us saw any quote root abyss armor - non shared loot - drops quote. this is inherently different from the other three bosses where at least the one person alive killing will see loot.
P.S. when talking about boss loots...OBVIOUSLY i mean the non generic ones... i mean come on, OBVIOUSLY. smh
