only have a 3.80 now, got a B- in diff eq because I bombed one test. got a 90~100+ on everything else graded. still really pissed about that grade, B- makes it seem like I struggled in that class but I understood it really well.
I have prior research experience, *basically* published in a nuclear physics paper, and I'm an eagle scout.
I thought UCLA would be a definite cause it was one of the "easier" schools I applied to
most of my other applications are at CalTech/JPL. If I don't get accepted to anything, I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. It's my last summer before I apply to grad schools and I kind of need serious research experience like this.The other four NSF / REU programs are supposed to have replied within a week from now, CalTech being the only specific saying "by 03/15"
The 10 internships through NASA seem to be.. whenever they feel like it? All 10 of those are at JPL, however. They all say "Not Yet Filled" for the position status, so all 10 of those are still fair game.
