Weapon speed affects the start-up of hurricane skills, but not the actual time between damage ticks. And yes, Beam Dance is a hurricane skill.

Normally it would make Green pots nearly useless if using Beam Dance, but that extra second starting Beam Dance up can make a difference in Dojo, I'm guessing.

Thanks for this info , learned something new today. Fortunately, there's a two-three second delay for each spawn, so a slower start-up speed isn't too critical.
