Hello all! Just wanted to drop in and say thank you. After trying to enter Monster Life (it had been months since I've gone in, btw) and getting Error Code 38, I found this page linked to a topic on the official Nexon forums.
Based on the suggestions in this thread, I removed a few items (throwing away useless medals and breaking down some equips) and I was able to successfully enter Monster Life. I will certainly be keeping a closer eye on my inventories.
For the record, in case it is helpful:
* Main account (created the day Maple Story came out of beta)
* Level 200+
* Expanded inventories, although none maxed
* 39 familiars
* 62 medals total earned, 7 in inventory, 1 equipped (was 10 in inventory when I was getting the error)
* 1,477 completed quests
* Sub 5,000 fame
* 9 pets, 2 still usable
* 6 mounts
* No traits are maxed
