2)Who said I was talking about clean? A scrolled can still be traded around with psoks. This set is permanately stuck on a character. I like switching around every 6 months or so. And because the fact that I can play switch my gear every few months to where I am decent on any char I want is important to me.

I already offered up free job system as a point. If you want that then yeah 160 set sucks, but like i said i don't see why such an equipment set should be tradeable in any form. People could justify upgrading with clean stuff because it's a huge upgrade, and clean stuff is easy to get if you're playing multiple characters because you split your funds. Clean empress set is pretty good imo for a character to play and be decent, but you want characters to play and be good and that's a different story so free job system should be good news.

More of a reason not to speculate on make stuff up like i been doin than it is a downside of the 160 set...

Accessibility doesn't matter too much since...well, see how far other items have deflated over time?

Why should people be surprised? Why should 160 stuff be involved with bosses weaker than empress or CRA?

-Potential lines. It was already stated in the thread you only save the rank of potential, not the actual lines. So you must recube, which will most likely also turn off a lot of people.

I know that. But let's be real here, cubing a new set from legendary/unique is cheaper than upgrading to a new set from nothing at all, and it's because of this a lot less people are going to be turned off by upgrading. Besides, scrolling stuff is SUCH A B'ITCH and often the worst part of perfecting an item so getting to keep your perfected work as you upgrade is such good incentive. Plus it brings value back to some pieces that aren't so good anymore.

-The fafnir set itself: It's 4 pieces. What are you using for the rest of those pieces? Empress? What if you already using tyrant? Granted, if what your saying is true [although I highly doubt it but like you said, we have no proof that either yours or mine opinion are correct about the method of how stats are transfered] then maybe it will be good if you only play only character at all.

Yeah just a lot of unresolved questions. A lot of these problems are just pre-mature because we don't know anything.

With nexons track record, I'm going to be guarded about my optomism. Like I said, looks great upgrade for those using empress and only play 1 character. Maybe better for those with fafnirs as well and aspire to hit the highest numbers on a single character. But there are many people like me who like to do decent damage and be able to transfer their stuff.
