Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

Eh, I think some of the pokemon lose a little something in their transition from 2D artwork to 3D model, and it's not just that their colour becomes a little faded.

Then again, I much prefer good looking 2D art to good looking 3D art, which is why I tend to be disappointed with all the reliance on 3D CGI these days, especially in cartoons/anime.

Pokemon made a good leap from 2D to 3D, but the models aren't perfect, and Sugimori art is how the pokemon is MEANT to look.
