utuber's videos were originally music recreations. He did one for trainer battle, gym trainer battle, and rival battle. The one he did for gym trainer's actually pretty accurate.

I wonder what else they could do in another game that would effect Pikachu's popularity, weird.

Unless maybe they give Pikachu a split-evolution. If that's the case, then it means new pokemon can be added to the game Post-release.
