Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

In regards to this, I've always thought that the starter pokemon should be available in the wild late game. It annoys me that they are so rare. Where the hell do the professors even get them from? you can't find them in the wild anywhere, hardly any trainers even use them, and yet somehow the professors are giving them out to every new trainer? it's weird.

actually by bulbapedia, they are rare pokemon that are being bred and raised in special farms from eggs until they are ready to fight (lvl 5 on the games).
OT:Gen V disappointed me very much, but this new gen and games are much better.
does anyone know a working 3DS emulator? being cheap and foreign don't do you any goods...
