This is exactly what they did with mileage except it works as a discount so it gives you 30% off stuff when you spend nx. So it doesn't affect free to play players but 30% off is really pretty good...

We need a reasonable avenue where spending isn't necessarily required, or enough to get a momentum on. Something like that just encourages spending and getting more out of it. Which isn't bad obviously.
