On the other hand it's more convinient as parents don't have to specialize their firewalls if they choose to. It's not really a big deal at all, especially since parents are more concerned about children signing up for websites, credit cards, and/or virus'. Though with the most recent websites to spawn in the last 5 years it's really unlikely you'll hit most of those bumps with basic protection of course.
