It's creating massive chat spam with the gachapon announcements and everything is deflating.
While the chat spam of gachapon is annoying I actually thing the entire market needs to deflate. As someone who doesn't spend on NX I think it would be nice to eventually get something worth a .... This game is so pay to win it is insulting. Hopefully the changes made in this patch will give us the 120-130 gear we need to go earn the 150 gear that we want.
Fact is, it is about impossible for anyone who isn't drowning in NX to get the 150 gear, especially if they don't have a strong guild to help them, at which point they need to restart their expensive upgrade processes if they do get that gear.
With the addition of timeless gear to the gachapon we can expect them to hit the FM in short order and be relatively cheap because of the flood of them hitting the market. This helps the people who can't help themselves to get a foot in the end-game door.
