Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion
I think it's obvious Nintendo is pressing Sakurai really hard on finishing this project as fast as possible. His shoulder is in a very bad shape yet he's been continuously working. I just wonder why the heck they don't put the 3DS version on hold already. I can guarantee that 70% or more of the population interested in this game are Wii U owners/potential owners. The people with a 3DS already has a lot to choose from.

''Not on anybody's most wanted list''? My list would have almost all of the characters kicked out immediately if that meant anything. When it comes to Smash it doesn't matter how dumb somebody thinks something is because there will be people who LOVE using that character anyway.

Characters don't mean a damn thing; it's the movesets that matter. ONLY the movesets. A ''skin'' is just a skin. Even if your favorite characters ever all made the list you still have to take into account that their moves might not be to your liking, and then you'd complain about THAT.

I get your point, yet Smash Bros is what it is today because of the "skins" more than anything. Look at PS Battlestars royale, its gameplay sure is top notch, its graphics, sounds and other elements aswell, yet why was it that It couldn't even imagine to be as popular as smash bros? Because nobody gives a pineapple about all the characters they put in it.

As for what you said about movesets. While it is true that the normal thing would be finding a character that adapts to you, believe me when I say that if you really like a character you can learn to adapt to it instead. I did it with C. Viper in SFIV even though she's so pineappleing hard and vulnerable, Lili in Tekken Tag 2, Mario in SSB Brawl and Megaman in (lol) Super Smash Flash.

Talking about popularity alone, he is right about her. Indeed she might be around the top of people's list of characters they wouldn't give a pineapple before her announcement in SSB. That said, as long as it's not proved that her addition rules out the chances of another (good) character getting in, I don't see why we being angry about it. I just hope their objective adding her isn't increasing the popularity of the Wii Fit franchise because that can't be a dumber strategy considering how far each target's audience are from each other. They obviously added her as a troll character and so far she's being doing it successfully.
