Feedback Unleashed: Part IV - I am my hair
Foxino Wrote:I have never liked the whole idea of "unlimited" It is catered too much for people who spend massive amounts of NX and hindered people such as myself who spend decent amounts but not thousands of dollars.

But since i'm willing to give anything a shot.

I pretty much came back for Unleashed and first thing is that it kinda bugs me that i cannot dojo without a massive upgrade.. Isn't even like that was the kind of place that you could go in as a party.. Since the whole "purpose" of this patch was to make bossing more party orientated..

As for the other things, I love having GPQ back (sadly my guild is dead but i went on a run with my friends guild for nostalgia's sake) this is definitely a +1, as for other changes i'm totally for the changes at singapore ESPECIALLY DAT BADGE.. Rolleyes

Lets see, twisted aqua and twilight perion I know gms didn't create these maps but geez boring as pineapple. I know they are set up for 200+ training but come on at least make the quests somewhat interesting..

I could go on all day but i'm going to cut this short.. LASTLY BUGS. tons, as this is expected from a large patch I wasn't surprised but this still doesn't make it anymore acceptable.

Conclusion? there are a lot of pros and cons of this patch but imo the cons far outweigh the pros and i apologize if I seem negative I always try to find a silver lining in things but this isn't the most easy patch to do so.

Kinda short, but I do see your points.

My turn.

I was anticipating this patch for quite a while, as I will be maining Demon Avenger when it is released, so, to my disdain, I checked the patch notes, and saw a very disheartening few things:

1. The Chimney was nerfed. As I only use the chimney until 30, this wasn't for me, but for the priests who can no longer use their elemental advantage to level. However, I thought, if the nerfs were done in moderation, it would be fine.

2. Aliens were nerfed. Now, I originally thought this a good thing, if done in moderation with an addition of substitute spots, but the next thing made me rethink this.

3. Malasia was revamped. Unlike with the previous 2, I immediately saw the downside: no more MP3 as an Aliens substitute. Priests lose an amazing training spot, and, overall, training just gets harder.

Then I got online, went to Jesters with my Mercedes, and killed one. 300 EXP.

Just like always, Nexon doesn't know the meaning of the word moderation- whether it be in regards to nerfs or actual game moderation.

I'll admit here that some things needed nerfed. However, here is what I would have done:

Rotting Skeletons - unchanged. Kinda personal, I suppose, but I never actually found them gamebreaking. Now they are kinda worthless as Golems and Gravi Stonegars exist.

Scarecrows - nerfed from 220/kill to 180/kill. Once again, as I don't regularly use the chimney past Skeles, I never found Scarecrows too gamebreaking, but I can understand a moderate EXP nerf.

Jesters - nerfed from 13XX/kill to 900/kill. I know this is a bit severe, but I also wanted to balance things out. 300 a kill is too far.

Aliens - nerfed from 3000/kill (lv95) to 1850/kill (lv95). Again, more moderation. I do actually USE aliens, so I can personally vouch for how broken they are at 3000 exp. However, lowering the exp AND buffing their level is NOT the way to nerf things in good moderation.

Lionheart Castle - exp lowered, party play kept. I understand that some of you WANT to go through absolute hell to get to 200, but nostalgia is not a feeling to pander to, as when you pander to nostalgia, you're essentially just taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

New! Some Undead Place For Priests from 80-110 - seriously. We need a place for priests to level. Without a place like that, you can basically stick a fork in any newbie Priests.

-TO BE CONTINUED AFTER I GET OFF WORK-
