So, the reason there's so much empty space along the top of the skills is because that's where the Link Skill button goes in the new skill UI:



Hmm, seems like a lot of unnecessary space just for one button, which most classes won't even have.

I agree. Since we cannot increase the level of the Link skills manually, why don't they make the button go where the + is? I'll edit this post with a mock-up of it with less white space if I get the time.
