Before we could charge lightning and use the same key to attack. To me it seems like we need 4 different hotkeys to

i think it still works like in zelkova's video, you need to switch elements, so you could just put a macro of holy charge-fire charge- ice charge- and use that to attack. or if you want to have all four attacks on your keyboard, you can also do that.
