Also, I'm playing it as Support/Ganker so rushing Dagon or Eblade isn't as easy because I'm the only one warding, upgrading courier, last game I also felt like getting a Mek because no one else would do it... Despite having fun and being sorta good, I don't think I'll play him that often.
I hate not being a better player to get out of low level pubs.
Oh god, don't get a Mek on someone like Nyx. He needs every single point of mana to make the other team's squishies have a bad time. Similarly, a Mek on an Earthshaker is a bad idea as well. Playing Support doesn't mean a Mek is needed. You can get similar healing results with an Urn of Shadows. In fact, that's the perfect healing item to get on Nyx since he's so gank-oriented that those charges will fill up quickly.
