Also, the game tells me I'd get more experience by nurturing monsters that want it - but I don't. Nurturing gives 10 exp regardless.
Nothing, they will keep the hearts till you nurture them. And your monsters get more exp, not you. If you insta nurture a mob 3 times, it becomes lv3, if you wait the 6? hours for hearts three times it becomes lv4 or so. It gives way more exp.
