So far I've only gotten a monster to Lv. 8 on my farm, but it seems like the Waru you can get for releasing a monster is calculated by:
Waru gained = 4 x (Monster Level - 2) x (Monster Level - 1) - 8,
Where the level of the monster is 3 or higher.
It also seems that monster rank (C/B/B+/A/A+/S/SS) has no impact on the amount of Waru.
Can anyone with higher leveled farm monsters check to see if it fits the formula, or give a counter-example?
EDIT: May as well add a table for convenience.
