We're f**ked with Windows for a very long time. Just don't buy 8.
Windows 8 was rejected by me well before Microsoft decided to pen in more reasons to not get it (See: Further screw-ups). It's a sad thing that Windows is so prevalent because that means they still get money even if Xbox One crashes and burns but we'd be happy just to see that people are voting with their feet instead of their money.
