Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

Pretty excited about the new region. It seems almost every town is connected to or pretty close to a river, hopefully that leads to being able to surf (almost) everywhere. (and hopefully without too much random encounters)

I was thinking the same thing
Aside from the island off the coast, there doesn't seem to be as many water areas as past games, so the large amount of rivers kinda makes up for that.

I've always loved rivers or bodies of water in routes in the older pokemon games, because it's always really exciting to go back there when you have surf and find lots of goodies and secret areas, So I hope there is lots of that in this game too!

Anyway, there is some new rumours floating around:

* the kalos region will have a major amount of pokemon introduced in one generation (Passing Sinnoh)

* Sylveon is the only new eevolution (Shocker)

* Clefairy, Togepi, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Lickitung, Snorlax, Dunsparce, Audino, Snubbull, Skitty and Whismur are all losing their Normal type for Fairy type (Also their pre-evolution and their evolution)

* Mawile, Absol, Misdreavus, Milotic (But not Feebas), Chimecho, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf will be receiving the Fairy type as a dual type

* Mawile evolution will have two mouths and a horse tail (will be a reference to a Hastune Miku)

* Eevee, Mawile, Sableye, Dunsparce, Bannette, Tauros, Heracross, Pinsir, Bisharp, Maractus, Cryogonal and Drifloon will have new evolution's. Meanwhile Lickitung, Throh/Sawk (a shared pre-evolution) and Absol will get a pre-evolution.

* Drifloon new evolution is a split evolution (Fairy/Ghost)

*Xerneas (Fairy) represent Life and Yveltal (Flying/Dark) represents Death

* we got a new Dragon/Fire legendary based on the chinese dragon (suppose to change form), a Fairy/Steel type legendary how holds a big bell based on an angel (also change forms)

* a Flying/Poison legendary based on Zhennioa who is well know for his beauty and his deadly poison (possibly 17th movie star)

* they also mention Xerneas and Yveltal will be the trio master of two separated legendary duos, for Xerneas a duo of lady pixies (Grass/Fairy) and for Yveltal a duo of dragons (Dragon/Flying types)

* No Pokemon Z is found but there is a pokemon that have a special conditions that may fill this space, a giant squid with a ancient city on top (Rock/Water type) It said to be the most breathtaking legendary so far.

* Some legendary pokemon will be download via DLCs

* Their is only one fossil (Dragon/Rock based on a T-rex) which it said it have a special way of obtaining it...(via Street-pass) one piece of the fossils obtain in each games (5 pieces need it to form the fossil)

* Gogoat will have a gender differences (and not the only ride-able mon

Fairy type Drifloon evolution? yes please!
I like the idea of a Poison type legendary, if Fairy exists and is indeed weak to poison.
The giant ruin squid thing sounds awesome.

Xerneas and Yyvetal kind of make sense.

Fletchling has one evolution, Normal/Flying, nothing spectacular. Looks like woodpecker, elongated beak, and carries on the arrow motif, with its body being very "sharp".

Pancham has one evolution, Fighting. Looks like one of those Japanese "Bosozuku" and carries around a bamboo sword.

Helioptile doesn't evolve.
