I agree that bots are really a limited learning tool, but for your very first time learning a champion, its better than blindly going at it without having the least fucking idea of what you are doing. After you have 1 or 2 game where you focused on learning about the champ itself you can jump into normal to learn how to play that champ against other people. At least you won't do so horrible if you at least know how the champion its played.
