THIS SOOOOOOO MUCH. Its one of the main reason why I dont support the path of feminist. I know the name represents what it stands for. Giving female's more rights. But calling themselves "feminists" auto segregates themselves from men. Which isn't want you want to do. I know the goal is equal rights for the sexes but they should call themselves what their goal is and not the path they plan to take.
Think about if Marther Luther King Jr. called his group Blackisim. (<- even though I think he was for equality of all races and just happened to be black.) Yes it would be an approate name for what hes doing but it segreagates himself and his group from everyone who isnt black.
