Why is the Aran class so unpopular?

As a fellow Aran lover, I have to admit that Kaiser's combo system was more well designed in comparison to Aran's.

I loved my Aran all the way to 200. Then I tried to kill Horntail and died to a chain of 4 seduces in a row because I had no status resistance. I decided that was a good time to switch over to playing a Kaiser instead.
