Nowadays people just seem to have a hate/laugh approach to Jetts, the hate part was pretty much what I described earlier, but the laughing part is just because of how weak of a class they are compared to Gunslingers.
While Corsairs do gain an additional 30 weapon attack over Jetts, people seem to overlook that Jett's Rapid Fire deals 30% more damage over Corsair's nerfed version. Also, they gain an additional 20% damage to bosses, and a small bonus of 5% additional crit rate. So I think it balances out. I always thought that people's accusations of Jetts being weaker as a class were unfounded, personally.
