31/1 - Characters' max level is increased to 250!

I think it's great that the level cap is being raised. I might even start up a new character myself.

A lot of us have complained about the lack of good, end game content, and this is our answer.

Sure, we complained about the endless grind back in the days of 2005-2009, but most of us here are unanimously in agreement that those days were much, much better than the Maplestory of today. The challenge and the worthwhile competition was what made it fun. And I frankly can't wait to relive that.

No, it is not unanimous. There is just as many people on this site who feel endless grinding back in the day was garbage.

The "challenge and worthwhile competition" is not what made maple fun. It was your friends and good times had with your friends while playing that was fun.

also increasing the cap to 250 is not real end game content, its literally worthless numbers that contribute nothing but prestige. real content is new bosses, new party quests, new continents with stuff to do with your friends. not this stuff, where you just train to 250 for the sake of it with the maps they just nerfed.

in saying that, its obvious they will include more maps to train on past 200, but for now they have not added real end game content.
