How exactly does accepting children as a casualty of war, something that happens with many conventional weapons as well, relate to shootings within the US? They are two completely different situations. It's entirely possible and not at all hypocritical to promote gun control amongst civilians while authorizing military strikes.
We can debate the legality of assassinating US citizens, but it has nothing to do with the current topic of discussion and would require it's own thread.
