AFAIK, Joe's calculations assume a punching-bag enemy that doesn't fight back or move out of range. He doesn't take into account potting time or being-disabled-by-status time.
Dual Blades receive 100% crit for 7 seconds every time a monster misses them with Shadow Meld. Having a 90% avoid rate is not difficult to achieve when you have a 1.7 multiplier to your base avoid rate.
With the exception of bosses like Magnus and those ones from Root Abyss where avoid rate would be mostly irrelevant, every other boss is constantly 'tankable' (not that I'm saying it's recommended or easy to do).
A Dual Blade having 50% buff duration and/or a 90% avoid rate isn't any less likely than a Cannon Shooter on Fastest (2), or someone following the optimal attack/buffing patterns perfectly.
I realise that these tables are for punching bags, but I am curious as to how much Dual Blades are missing out when it comes to the numbers on paper with the exclusion of these 'external factors'.
