@above: what made you choose flying as a profession?
as a kid i flew a lot because i have uncles in germany, and i simply loved every time i got into a plane, a few years ago i didn't know what to do with my life, so i asked myself "what did i like as a kid?"
and well, pilot was easier (and cheaper/faster paying) than astronaut.
