I was in Madison a few months back for my sister's bachelorette party, and we ended up going to...Segredo (?), I think it's called, and that's ALL the dj was playing was dubstep, and not the good kind either ._. The only reason we stayed is because they kept giving us free drinks. 3/10 would not go again. Chicago night life all the way, baby!
Yeah, there's a bar/pseudo-club called Segredo, and yeah, it's not that good. Sad to hear you had a bad experience there but hey, clearly I'm with you - give me Chicago or NYC nightlife any day over Madison.
OT: Barack Obama was just in Madison for the second time this month, with Bruce Springsteen performing before him. To make matters cooler, when my roommate, her boyfriend, and I got there we were just going to hang back and watch everything on the screen, but decided to leave for a bit to grab coffee from Starbucks, as we still had plenty of time before everything began. On our way back in a volunteer stopped us and gave us all VIP tickets, so HOLLA at leaving to move even closer.
