Nope. Most people never look here. Forum events rank strongly as a "who cares" amongst our viewership.
This is why every time someone complains we don't do them and we try to do them again we get disappointed.
Look at their traffic after a week;
| threadid | total | unique | users |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60732 | 162 | 83 | 56 |
| 60733 | 164 | 85 | 59 |
| 60734 | 661 | 142 | 82 |
Compared to an extraction thread that's been up less than 12 hours;
| threadid | total | unique | users |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60787 | 775 | 395 | 125 |
Or the State of the Southperry thread that's only been a day longer than the votes and had equal treatment (tweeting, no force read);
| threadid | total | unique | users |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60716 | 4045 | 499 | 218 |
This sort of discouraging participation is what the Event Committee has to face and overcome to get people more interested and involved.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
