@Kubi: Yes, it might be true we might just be shouting at deaf ears, but it doesn't hurt to try at all except for spending a good 5 minutes just to write up and send the ticket/email, right? We can always add in how we might boycott their Karma Koins, even though it might sound ineffective compared to other customers, but every dollar counts to them, right?
nope, i totally understand what ur saying and feel the same way. might sound stupid to ppl who weren't affected, but we did unjustly miss out THROUGH NO FAULT OF OUR OWN on the 10 gallant emblems from hot time, at least three 4-hr 2x events (sat, sun and then early monday for australia day), 6 days and counting of the homecoming event (for which they doubled coins btw over the weekend), nearly a week on cs items we'd bought and paid for but can't use because of their mistake, and i totally forgot about the stupid storage fees from frederick when my mushie closed on saturday and expired on sunday because i couldn't log on. and let's not forget that they didn't even extend cs items like they said they would for 20-hours to cover the patch/update/maintenance and an additional 48 hours as compensation therefor. my mushie was set to expire at noon pst last sunday b4 the maintenance, and it still expired sunday at noon pst after the maintenance and rollback.
and, in case u cldn't tell, i'm still banned. received my first contact from them last night, a weird email actually that apologized for the "additional" email but they needed my login name and email address in order to investigate. i swear that i nvr heard from them until then and have been stalking my email since i wrote to them last friday looking for a reply not only in the inbox but also in the junk/spam folders. nada. sent them my info 5 minutes after i got the email, and tonight i get a second email which is identical to the ones ppl started receiving on monday and tuesday, giving the mysterious "unauthorized access" excuse and asking me again for my info. o.o
i'm furious, but i will grovel and be sweet in my responses just to get the account back that they literally stole from me! the only unauthorized access to my account that i can see is by Nexon itself!
i also plan to follow up thereafter via email and the ticketing system. won't go near the forums, though, because they've instructed the moderators to ip ban you if ya mention this issue too much and how unfair the entire situation is. *cough* disruptive behavior f3 *cough* they'll ignore all, ofc, as usual, but i have to make the attempt because this was a complete fustercluck on nexon's part. they reached deep into my pockets and stole money from ppl who already pay a lot for a "free" game.
what's really sad, and i apologize if i've mentioned this b4, but i know of hackers who got banned for stuff they did ... and they got their accounts back in 24-48 hours. gg nexon =(
