Kinda killed all of enthusiasm for the Crafting system, at least while Copper is still insanely expensive. Considering how much you need of it, I doubt it will go down any time soon and I don't feel like starting another craft.
Plus power leveling to 80 on crafting just seems completely boring.
It appears to me that you level crafting much faster when you actively discover recipes. I was spamming leather mask recipes for Leatherworking for about a point per mask, but then I decided to discover all the recipes available to me and I gained exp much faster.
Polantaris Wrote:Honestly I don't hate all of them, but every time I run into a huge one that any mistake is either death or starting the entire thing over, it gives me a headache and frustrates me so much. Example: The one at The Breached Wall in the Lv.15-25 Charr starter area. I spent an hour on that thing, and ended up with such a migraine that I had to stop playing for hours. I was happy, enjoying the game, and having a blast minutes before I started it.
That one in Lion's Arch isn't much better. It's not as bad in terms of jumping, but after getting all the way to the pitch black area, I was really annoyed when I saw that you needed a torch and...my class can't equip them. I grabbed the item torch on the ground only to have it expire before I got back to where I was. I didn't think of using the AoE skill placement circles to direct myself, but such a loophole shouldn't even be necessary. Neither should turning your Gamma up.
The Breached Wall was a lot of fun for me. There were a bunch of people running through it at the same time as me, and none of us really knew how to get through it, so it took some trial and error. I liked that there were ghosts to fight along the way. I had to be careful with my Thief flips and dodges to avoid falling off. I didn't have such a hard time with it, though; I think it took me about 10-15 minutes once we figured out where the stairs were.
